Chaotic Behavior in Receiver Front-end Limiters
A delay nonlinear differential equation is proposed to investigate the condition of the microwave chaotic behavior existing between the antenna and the front-end protection circuit of a receiver such as the radar front-end limiter circuit. This investigation concerns the case of intentional or unintentional signals applied to the antenna outside of its bandwidth. Bifurcation diagrams show that ...
متن کاملWCDMA Direct Conversion Receiver Front End
This paper presents a 2.14GHz RF front end for Wide-band Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) receiver. The receiver is based on direct conversion architecture and implements a low noise amplifier (LNA) and a quadrature mixer in 0.25μm CMOS process. The receiver achieves a noise figure (NF) of 8.93dB, provides a gain of 17.14dB, has an IIP3 of -15.04dB and dissipate 72.15mW at 2.5V.
متن کاملAn UWB Receiver Analog Front-End
This report presents the design and simulation results of an UWB receiver analog front-end (AFE) which consists of a broadband low-noise amplifier (LNA), mixers, variable gain amplifiers (VGA), and anti-aliasing filters for I and Q channel. The receiver chain is designed to down-convert and amplify three 500MHz bands spanning from 3.2GHz to 4.7GHz. The gain can be varied from 12dB to 55dB, with...
متن کاملReceiver Front-End Architectures – Analysis and Evaluation
In today's world, the exponential growth from communications between people/companies in different places (at same time), the increasing requirement to measure and control all processes, the analysis in real time, the mandatory requirement to provide of information and entertainment data to electronic devices that must be increasingly smaller and more complex, requires a continuous and nonstop ...
متن کامل60GHz front-end receiver chain in 90nm CMOS technology
Operation at millimeter-wave frequency, where up to 7GHz of unlicensed bandwidth is available in the 60GHz band, provides an opportunity to meet the higher data rate demands of wireless users. Advancements in silicon technology permit one to consider exploiting the 60GHz band for commercial applications (e.g., short range, wireless HDTV transmission) for the benefit of end users. This could ena...
